This pattern is a spin of the well-known WD-40 pattern. It is a weightless attractor style nymph. It fished great as a trailer fly in a two-fly rig, or when fish are rising, you can tie it off a dry fly and it will sit a few inches below the water. This presentation will imitate an emerging insect! The purple color imitates nothing really in nature, but on certain streams and lakes it produces fish when nothing else will!
These flies are sold in sets of three and are all tied by Ethan Martin.
